On April 13, 1997 a 53
year old man steps in to the ECW wrestling ring and faced two other man, The
Sandman & Stevie Richards in a Three-Way-Dance to decide who would face the
then reigning ECW World Heavyweight Champion Raven. The match was held on the
Barely Legal Pay-per-view in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Funk won the Three-Way-Dance
and after having one of the most grueling matches in ECW’s history he won his
second ECW World Heavyweight Championship title.
