On April 15, 2011 WWE
broadcasts Edge’s SmackDown farewell. Edge was forced to retire duo to a
cervical spinal stenosis. Doctors cannot medically clear him to wrestle,
because there is a high risk Edge may suffer neck-down paralysis or even death.
He retires as the reigning WWE World Champion.
