Wow,
I am proud of New York’s own Bully Ray for his victory over Jeff Hardy two weekends
ago in Lockdown PPV. By defeating Jeff Hardy he captured the TNA Worlds
Heavyweight Championship title, and he also betrayed each and every one of the TNA
fans.
Just
like CM Punk dropped a pipe bomb in 2011, Bully Ray has the wrestling world
buzzing over his heel turn, and proclaiming himself as the president of Aces
& Eights. Will this angle change my notions of Impact Wrestling? Yes, it has.
Impact Wrestling has my attention now. They have fresh storylines and their
matches are pretty good. They are actually giving opportunities to wrestlers
that are not your typical champion stereotypes, like Austin Aries, Bobby Roode,
and now Bully Ray. This angle has huge potential; hopefully Impact Wrestling
has hired creative writers that will not bury this storyline.
I
remember going to the Elk’s Lodge in Queens, New York and watching ECW, live.
Buh Buh Ray Dudley was awesome; he can make the crowd hate him before he even
utters one word. He would bash any fan
that looked odd or overweight; it was something about him that stood out to me.
He has not changed one bit, when we saw Bully Ray at the Impact Zone in Florida
he was even better then I remembered him.
With
D-Von Dudley as his tag team partner they captured numerous Championships,
including ECW, WCW, WWE, and TNA. As a single competitor he has captured the
Hard Core Championship title on ten different occasions, and now he finally has
become a World Champion. He deserves it!
