The poll is closed

The poll is closed, and the winner for the hottest WWE Diva is Kelly Kelly. I must admit that she is a very good looking female, but there are hotter girls on the roster. I totally believe Layla and Eve are the sexiest Divas in the WWE. Rosa Mendes is superhot also, if you like the skinny types.  Alicia Fox looks like Rihanna, why did she only get 9% of your votes guys, let’s get it together! The Bella Twins, the new ring attire alone should have given them 25% of your vote! Sorry, Joe, Beth Phoenix only got 9% of the votes, better luck next time.

Now on to the winner of the hottest Knockout, she is Velvet Sky. She is very hot, great choice guys. Former WWE Diva Mickie James was the runner up with 32% of your votes. Now I cannot believe you guys let Brooke Tessmacher come in third place. She is younger and in my opinion hotter than Mickie James. What happen to Tara she was the MLIF in the contest and she only got 8% of your votes, while Gail Kim got 10%. There’s something really wrong with you guys. (lol)

What Does the Future Hold for Brock Lesnar?

Brock Lesnar vs. Alistair Overeem
Sable & Brock Lesnar

Former WWE Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar lost his third Mix Martial Art (MMA) fight, in the UFC against Alistair Overeem. Overeem is one of the biggest men I have ever seen.  Overeem hit Lesnar with a couple of knees to the body and then landed a huge kick to the abdomen, which drop Lesnar and left him unable to continue. Many of his other fights have ended in the same fashion. Frank Mir defeated Lesnar with a Kneebar that forced him to submit. Brock Lesnar suffered his second lost via a TKO, when Cain Velasquez caught him with a straight right that opened a gash on his cheek and again Lesnar could not defend himself. All of Brooke Lesnar losses have come in the first round and in my opinion proves that he has not fully recovered from his battle of mononucleosis. Brock promised his family that he will retire once he captures the UFC Heavyweight Championship, and to do so he needed to defeat Overeem. Lesnar lost this match and has publicly announced his retirement; he has accomplished a lot in such a short MMA career.

Bobby Lashely
This brings up many questions about Lesnar’s career, but there is one that interest me the most, which is why do pro wrestlers believe that they can make that transition from wrestling to MMA. Bobby Lashely and Batista have left the WWE to pursue careers in MMA. Bobby Lashely has an MMA record of seven wins and one loss, and to be honest I have never seen any of his fights, so I can’t really judge him. Batista has not been able get a fight in any promotion. Other wrestler’s that have been heard wanting to enter the octagon are Tara and Kurt Angle. Tara in my opinion is the only one that has actually come to her senesces. She has stated “realistically I’m forty, if I would have started this maybe, when I turned thirty, I think I could be ahead of the game and be in the mix”. These are words of a person that has realized she is a sport entertainer. I do not doubt their athletic ability, because I am a huge wrestling fan, but in wrestling the outcome is predetermine before the match starts. In MMA two men or women enter the cage and they beat them self senesces less until there is a clear cut winner. There is blood and amazing knockouts. In my opinion many of these wrestlers believe the hype that the WWE and/or TNA have built for them. I am not saying that they can’t take out an average guy (that is writing shit on a blog site) on the street, but the MMA competitors have been practicing the arts for years and that is what gives them an edge over pro wrestlers.

The second question that comes to mind is will he return to the WWE? It wouldn’t surprise me if he makes his return in a future WrestleMania to face The Undertaker. I can’t see him making his return on WrestleMania 28, the WWE is smarter than that, and they wouldn’t have two giant main events on one card. Third question is will he wrestle on a full time bases? I truly believe he will not, because Lesnar has made it clear that he never liked the traveling aspect of the business and besides what type of impact will he make in the world of wrestling, today. He is older and obviously has not fully recovered from his illness. In my opinion the WWE should stick to what they are doing right now, which is focusing on the younger talent. All of the Champions right now are younger and the future of business. Don’t get me wrong I am an old school guy. I have seen guys like Booker T, Jerry Lawler and Brock Lesnar himself in their prime; I hate to see them hold on to something that is not really there. I saw Jerry Lawler in a house show in New York City, and he looked slow in the ring, he can still entertain us, but it is because he takes us to our childhood. Brock Lesnar a great sports entertainer and in world of wrestling you never say never, so we may see him back in the ring sooner then we think.

This Week in Wrestling for November 4, 2011

The Muppets invade Raw this past Monday night and we found out that Sheamus is related to the Muppets. The Rock accepted the proposition   to be John Cena partner for Survivor Series 2011 vs. The Awesome Truth. We also found out that our WWE Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Riooooo will take on the voice of the voiceless CM Punk on that same card.

We saw Zack Ryder win another match on Raw, Woo Woo Woo you know it bro.

I am really upset that WWE is making Del Rio look like a fool every chance they can. The match on Raw with the Big Show is a prime example, Del Rio had that match in the bag, but in the end the Big Show got the win. This win would have given Del Rio credibility as a champion.

I also missed Kevin Nash this week, what happen?

Why does John Cena need Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to defeat the Awesome Truth? He clearly can defeat them both on Monday night Raw without his help.

There is a new Impact Wrestling World Champion and his name is Bobby Roode. What happen TNA, are we taking a page from the WWE playbook for passing the World title around like a joint. It was a great match, because we were a witness to the birth of a new heel on Impact Wrestling. What may kill Roode would be if he joined Eric Bischoff and the rest of Immortal. While we are on the subject of Immortal & Bischoff, shouldn’t they change the name of the group and why is Bischoff’s son getting so much air time?

We also were witness to the crowning of the new Impact wrestling Knockout tag team Champions Gail Kim and Madison Rayne. They defeated Tara & Brooke Tessmacher, whom were wearing the hottest outfits I have seen on them all year, which alone is news itself.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro from the Jersey Shore made his appearance on Impact Wrestling this past Thursday. Robbie E. alone with Rob Terry called out Eric Young and his special guest Ronnie to the ring. The outcome was that Ronnie was whipped by Robbie while Rob was holding Ronnie down. This last sentence sounds like a tongue twister.

Four former WWE Wrestler, are now free to wrestle at any wrestling company they want, after the 90-day Non-Compete agreement is over. So I am going to predict that Melina will go to Impact wrestling and become Knockout Champion with the help of Karen Jarrett. Chris Master, DH Smith and Vladimir Kozlov also have a chance to wrestle elsewhere, but I don’t see them reaching Impact Wrestling anytime soon.

Divas Division

Melina

Hello again wrestling fans, as you may already know the WWE has released five wrestlers. Chris Master, Vladmir Kozlov, and David Hart Smith are guys that haven’t been seen on WWE television for a while, so it’s not a huge surprise, they were released. What is a shocker to me; the WWE released the two best female competitors in the entire company Melina and Gail Kim. Gail Kim is a former Women’s Champion and she has also held the TNA Knockouts championship. Kim is the real deal she has been in the ring with the likes of Trish Stratus, Lita, Victoria (A.K.A Tara), Mickie James and she has defeated every one of them. She will be missed and hopefully we can see her soon, back in a wrestling ring.

The biggest shocker to me was Melina, since I have seen changes in the Divas division; I thought the women to lead them could have been her. Melina has held the Women’s Championship on three different occasions. She has also held the Divas Championship twice, which makes her in my opinion one of the best female wrestler in the world today. I have met her before, and she is as charismatic in person as she is in the ring. I would love to see her in Impact
Wrestling and win the Knockout Championship.

Let’s talk about Beth Phoenix & Natalya, who declared war on the “cute, perky, little princes” in the WWE. I actually enjoyed the match on SmackDown between AJ & Natalya. They used wrestling holds for a change. Beth Phoenix taking out Kelly Kelly & Eve Torres proves that the Championship title will change hands at SummerSlam.

Impact Wrestling (06/30/2011)

Hello again wrestling fans. I was watching Impact Wrestling and I can’t believe that Sting was transformed into “The Joker”. His imitation is fine, but why is Impact wrestling turning an iconic figure like Sting into a crazed clown. Apparently Sting wants to bring out the old Hulk Hogan, by having him take his vitamins on national television. In my opinion the best match was the triple threat match between Lowki, Jimmy Wang, and Matt Bentley. This match had many high spot and we even saw a “Flying Elvis”. Lowki came out on top, after hitting the “Warrior’s Way” off the top rope and pining Bentley. This match shows that Impact Wrestling is taking serious their new slogan “wrestling matter”. The six person elimination match between the Knockouts was good and the ring was full of eye candy, except Winter, she is the worst looking Knockout. Mickie James came out on top after out lasting Ms. Tessmacher (HOTTEST), Madison Rayne (Ok Hot), Tara (MLIF), Angelina Love (HOT) and Winter. The main event match was Scott Steiner vs. Sting. Sting gain the win over Steiner after hitting the “Scorpion Death Drop”. Bully Ray, the Impact Champion Mr. Anderson and Hulk Hogan took turns attacking Sting after the match. Finally Kurt Angle came out to save Sting; wow it’s hard to keep up who’s whipping Sting.

Knockouts vs Divas & Snooki

I really enjoyed the TNA Knockouts match, between Mickie James and Tara. Tara used a Boston Crab to setup her finisher, but Mickie James ended the match, with a Tornado DDT. It was exciting; they actually use wrestling maneuvers, unlike the WWE Divas. This brings me to talk about Snooki from The Jersey Shore being used as a competitor in WrestleMania 27, how did this happen? Is she really going to enter the ring with Trish Stratus & John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler & Lay-Cool? Wow, I really don’t understand why the WWE is using Snooki for a match. This makes me stop and think about the Hall of Fame inductee Drew Carey, and everything starts to make sense. The WWE is attempting to attract new fans while neglecting the true Wrestling supporters, by using non wrestlers at WrestleMania.
