Raw’s 1000 episode was
one of the best, WWE show’s we have seen in a while. They gave us returning
legends like Vader, Sid Vicious, Diamond Dallas Page, Roddy Piper, and many
more. But the biggest return was the reunion between the leaders of the
Attitude Era, Degeneration X (DX). When they announce a DX reunion, for the 1000
episode, I thought we were in store for another Triple H & Shawn Michaels
segment, but when I saw “The Road Dog” Jesse James, “Badass” Billy Gun and
X-Pac in that jeep, I went crazy.

CM Punk made me a fan
The final match on
Raw’s 1000 episode was John Cena vs. WWE Champion CM Punk and it was a great
match in my opinion. The match itself was not a five star match, but it left
most of us with a huge question mark. The WWE does it again, they have a huge
storyline in their hands and I personally can’t wait to see what their plans
are for The Rock & Punk feud.

The Best in the World
Hello wrestling fans,
with the question of "who's the best in the world?" on my mind, I
decided to watch WWE Breaking The Code: Behind the Walls of Jericho. I must
say, Chris Jericho is one of my favorite wrestlers of all time. As we all know,
he has always looked up to Shawn Michaels and he always reminded me of Shawn
too. He was always a great in-ring performer, worked all around the world,
gaining so much experience and got noticed by guys like Paul Heyman, Jim
Cornette and Mick Foley. Jericho had a brief run in ECW, which eventually got
the attention of Eric Bischoff. With the idea of the Cruiserweight division in
mind, Bischoff hand-picked Jericho as one of the pioneers of that division,
alongside other guys like Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko, Rey Mysterio Jr., etc.

Ernesto’s DVD Review of - The Rock; The Epic Journey of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson
Hello wrestling fans.
Finally, The Rock has made a biography DVD!! WWE The Epic Journey of Dwayne ‘The
Rock’ Johnson is the latest installment to my collection of WWE DVDs. My
favorite, kind of wrestling DVDs are the autobiographical ones. I've always
loved wrestling and to have a "behind the scenes" look at it just
fascinates me. Learning and listening to a certain superstar's journey gives me
a broad look to the man behind the character. Going through The Rock's timeline
brought back so many memories. My brother and I were at Madison Square Garden,
the night Rocky Maivia made his WWE debut on Survivor Series 1996. Not to
mention, we were at MSG last year when The Rock made his comeback after seven
years away from the ring at Survivor Series 2011. I grew up watching Rocky's
whole wrestling career. I was cheering for him ever since 1996. But it wasn’t
until he became a member of the Nation of Domination that The Rock was born and
his charisma started to show. You just could not help but love the most
electrifying man in sports entertainment. I've mentioned before that he was one
of the pioneers of the Attitude Era. His promos and matches were always
wonderful and entertaining to watch. He had this way with words that made
everyone listen. I think he's made more catchphrases that any other superstar
ever.
The feud between The
Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin is one of the greatest feuds. They've
headlined WrestleMania for a record, three times. There is no doubt that The
Rock is one of the greats, but I must be very honest, I still believe he's a
sell-out. The night Brock Lesnar beat him for the WWE Undisputed Championship;
the crowd was yelling "YOU SOLD OUT! YOU SOLD OUT!" He left to make
movies. He then comes back and made a huge impact. He came back as a heel and
told the crowd to shine it up real nice, turn that sumbitch sideways and stick
it straight up their candy asses. Then he left again. Makes another comeback
for WrestleMania XX, but then leaves again. Seven years later, finally The Rock
has come back, home. He now claims that he's back and is never leaving again.
Claims he never left. As myself, I’m happy he's back and I respect Dwayne
Johnson and everything he's done. As a wrestling fan, I can’t help but feel
betrayed. The seven year absence makes me want to cheer for John Cena next
month at WrestleMania. The truth is Cena is the top guy in WWE. Just like Andre
the Giant did for Hulk Hogan, and Hogan did for The Rock, The Rock has to
"pass the torch" to John Cena. Whether Cena turns heel or stays a
baby face, he will still be the poster boy until someone else comes along. The
Rock also explains that he felt he's done it all in WWE and that’s why he
decided to make it in Hollywood. So if he has "done it all" then he
has no reason to win at WrestleMania. Cena is here and has never left. If The
Rock cares as much about the company as he says he does, he will job for Cena.
On that note, the DVD is a must see for the millions, AND MILLIONS of The
Rock's fans, and I cannot wait to see what happens at WrestleMania 28.

Picture of the Week (September 3, 2011)
This picture of the week features one of the most
important people in my life, my lovely wife. It was her birthday and instead of
heading for dinner or something like that she headed to a huge line to meet
Stone Cold Steve Austin. She told Steve that it was her B-day, he didn’t
believe her so she pulled out the Birthday Card. Steve signed the card and started to flirt with my WOMAN, WTF, I
voiced my disapproval and his comment was “I can snap your neck just like that”
while he snap his finger. Everyone around him, including me laughed, but deep inside
I cried because I couldn’t jump over the table and smack bitch out his bold headed
ass. This is a true story ask my wife if you recognize her at any wrestling
signing event. I was threaten by Stone Cold Steve Austin, but the part of me
getting mad was joke I was proud that I have a hot lady on my arm ;-)

Mr. Anderson is the new TNA Champion
For those who haven’t heard it yet Mr. Anderson captured the TNA World title last Sunday night at Slammiversary, by defeating the then current champion Sting. It was a good match, but not the main event of the night. I am actually excited that Mr. Anderson is getting a second chance to carry the title. His new gimmick is not really original, in my opinion it reminds me of a beer drinking, Texas Rattlesnake named Steve Austin. When Anderson was in the WWE he had an awesome gimmick, but the WWE never saw him as a World Champion. I enjoyed some of Mr. Anderson segments especially when he dressed up as the original Sting; it brought me back to the old WCW days. I really am expecting a lot for this title reign, but who will be his next opponent? I believe TNA’s roster is full of top young wrestlers that can have great matches with the new champ. Bobby Roode is one of them, but he is on the disable list, Eric Young, Desmond Wolfe and D’Angelo Dinero. These guys are the future of TNA, but we can always count on the older guys getting the opportunities first. Kurt Angle could be the next in line for the title after his victory over Jeff Jarrett or is RVD back in the title picture? Only time will tell. Leave us comments on our blog site or facebook account on who would you like to see face Mr. Anderson for the TNA world title.

Monday Night Raw is Predictable
Hello again wrestling fans. I don’t know about you guys, but the last episode of Monday Night Raw was a little predictable, not in the sense of in ring action, but the match making. As Raw began, we saw the crowning of the 2011 Tough Enough winner Andy Leavine (which if I may add, I had predicted) with the Chairman of the Board Vince McMahon

Captain Charisma is back
Last week’s, WWE Friday Night SmackDown ended wonderfully. Captain Charisma is back. Christian did exactly what I wanted him to do. He turned heel, not only striking Randy Orton with the World Championship belt, but he even left the ring with it. In my opinion, he deserves his chance at the top. I wasn’t happy Christian lost the title after win it five days earlier. I felt it was disrespectful to him. But it seems like it was the WWE's plan all along. Was it really their plan or do they actually listen to the WWE Universe or even listened to me? SmackDown needed a top heel to go against Orton. All the main heels are on Raw. They even made Mark Henry turn against his fans in order to add more heels on SmackDown. I believe Christian can be a great World Champion. He can draw money. This whole Christian vs. Orton feud is the main reason why I've started to watch SmackDown. Move aside Randy Orton, you over-rated, fake Stone Cold Steve Austin. Christian will be taking over as the champ on SmackDown.

Tough Enough Episode Seven
WWE’s reality TV series, Tough Enough just got interesting. Martin Casaus, who in my opinion was a lock to win the WWE contract, was forced to leave the competition due to an ankle injury. Steve Austin allowed him to place his own title on the wall, as a sign of respect. This proved that the trainers and Austin believed he was one of the front runners to win the competition. As the show ended we saw Christina Crawford attempting to hit A.J. Kirsch with a double axe handle, she injured her ankle in the process. I’m not sure if Christina is returning next week, but it looks like we maybe down to four.

Tough Enough Episode Six
This week on WWE Tough Enough, we saw two competitors go home. Ivelisse Velez was sent home because of the injury she suffered while working the ropes, during episode five. Christina Crawford missed a leapfrog and landed on her head, causing the injury. The Puerto Rican native wrestled for six years in the independent circuits. She is the most experience female competitor in this competition. Steve Austin sent Ivelisse home because she was unable to perform at her full potential. The second person sent home, was Eric Watts. The 6’5” California Native never stood a chance in any of the challenges, because he wasn’t in top physical shape. In my opinion, Eric was the most unprepared competitor on Tough Enough and he should have been sent home earlier. Eric may have had the look of pro wrestler, but he didn’t have the heart and skills to become a WWE Superstar.

Tough Enough Episode Five
Hello again wrestling fans. On Tough Enough we saw Luke Robinson, go into the bottom three for the first time. He was seen by the trainers and the host Stone Cold Steve Austin as a person that doesn’t work well with others. In order to have a good wrestling match you have to make your opponent look good as well. Martin won the weeks challenge for the third time making him the top contender for that WWE Contract. Booker T put Ryan in his place, after feeling disrespected while he was talking. Ryan ‘Skidmarks’ Howe was in the bottom three once again, but this time he couldn’t convince Steve Austin to keep him on Tough enough.

The Draft picks for SmackDown
I have a lot on my mind, about the WWE Draft picks, last night on Monday Night Raw. I just want to add, that whenever I have the chance to watch SmackDown, I watch it, but hands down I'm a Raw fan.
Draft picks for Friday Night SmackDown: John Cena, Randy Orton, Mark Henry and Sin Cara.
I personally believe John Cena is the new Hulk Hogan. Instead of "say your prayers" and "taking your vitamins," it's "Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect." The biggest difference is that Hulk Hogan can appeal to fans of all ages and genders and John Cena, of course does not. John Cena's charisma is great but he was better when he was a heel. With that being said, I'm happy he gets drafted into SmackDown where I don’t have to see much of him.
I believe Randy Orton is the new Stone Cold Steve Austin. Instead of "The Rattlesnake" it’s "The Viper." The RKO is a modified Stone Cold Stunner. I can’t deny that he's a good in-ring performer but I just can’t buy into him being a top guy. So I'm extremely happy he's heading to SmackDown.
Mark Henry will always be Mark Henry. I still cannot see him as a top guy. I'm sorry but I can’t. Maybe turning him heel on SmackDown will bring out some charisma.
I'm really disappointed that Sin Cara was drafted into SmackDown. I was excited to see him perform on Raw. My only problem is that he has made a couple of mistakes in his first match against Primo. Maybe they needed him on SmackDown so they'll be able to edit his matches to make him look good and give him the push that they want for him.

Well, those were my thoughts on the 2011 WWE Draft. I just hope WWE knows what they're doing. I would love to read your thoughts on the draft picks.

WWE Tough Enough host Stone Cold Steve Austin
![]() |
| 'Stunnig' Steve Austin |
Stone Cold Steve Austin is the host of the WWE Tough Enough, but many young WWE fans don’t remember the real Texas Rattlesnake. Steve Austin started wrestling in the early 90’s as ‘Stunning’ Steve Austin, in WCW. He became the WCW Television Champion as soon as he joined the company and also joined Paul E. Dangerously’s (Paul Heyman), Dangerous Alliance. The Stable members were Rick Rude, Arn Anderson, Larry Zbyszko, and Bobby Eaton. The Dangerous Alliance had a great run in the company, but the group was separated early 1993, leaving Austin as single competitor for awhile.

Tough Enough Episode Three
Last Monday night on WWE Tough Enough, two competitors left the show. Michelle Deighton a 25-year-old independent wrestler (off-n-on) from Indiana left on her own. She realized the she ‘wasn’t tough enough to be a Diva, but she is tough enough to be mom’. Michelle missed her daughter she realized that been a mother was more important than becoming a WWE Diva. She was not going to make it anyway. The second person to leave Tough Enough was Mickael Zaki a 26-year-old, unemployed, Jersey City, New Jersey native. The competitors went through a drill called chain of command were Mickael was the second participant; he gave a wild suplex to A.J. Kirsch. He lack technique in the ring and looked awful during the exercise. He was in the bottom three with Ryan Howe* and Rima Fakih*, and took on Ryan in a promo competition, in which he failed miserably. Before they met Stone Cold Steve Austin in the ring, Mickael took Ryan’s bed out of the room because he believed he wasn’t coming home that night. A wise man once told me ‘bad thing happen to bad people’ and that’s called karma, B**ch.

Tough Enough Episode Two

Hello again wrestling fans, last Monday night on Tough Enough Matt Capiccioni was sent home. Matt is a 9 year veteran of the sports, but was unwilling to stand out when given an opportunity. During Monday’s episode Trish Stratus asked him to step into the ring with Luke Robinson, but Luke took his spot light and out worked him. When asked why he shouldn’t be sent home, he flat-out fell on his face. Stone Cold Steve Austin was waiting to hear, I am the next WWE Superstar, but all he can say is I have desire. Where was the desire when he was training with the best in this business?

Tough Enough

Tough Enough aired this past Monday night on the USA Network. For those who don’t know, Tough Enough is a reality series about 14 contestants who train and live under one roof, whose ultimate gold is to win a WWE contract. The 14 contestants will be trained by former WWE superstars, Booker T, Bill Demott, and Trish Status. The host and judge of Tough Enough is Stone Cold Steve Austin. Wrestling fans can actually see what a wrestler goes through in order to entertain the fans on nightly bases. In the premier episode we saw the contestants run the ropes for three minutes without stopping, Stone cold and the trainers picked the worst three participants that performed the challenge. After Steve Austin questions the three competitors on why should they stay in the completion, one of them was sent home. Ariane Andrew a 23 year old California native was the first person sent home. She was asked by Steve Austin, which is her favorite match of all time; she answered Melina vs. Alicia Fox. The answer drove Stone Cold crazy. Austin was right in sending her home; she has no sense of wrestling history. There are so many unforgettable matches in Pro-wrestling history, and Ariane named Melina vs. Alicia Fox. This is the fourth season of Tough Enough. I understand that a version of Tough Enough was also aired on SmackDown, but it wasn’t the same format. Tough Enough will air on Monday nights on the USA Network at 8pm.

The Miz calls out the Texas Raddled Snake
On Monday Night Raw The Miz called out the Texas Rattlesnake, Stone Cold Steve Austin, while he Introduces the cast of Tough Enough. As Austin clears the ring of the entire Tough Enough participants, Alex Riley attacks him from behind while The Miz exits ring. Steve Austin quickly takes advantage of the situation and stomp a mud hole in him and walked it dry. Steve celebrated like only Stone Cold can, with lots of beers. Stone Cold looks in great shape and I really can’t see any ring rust. Oh Hell Yeah!!
